Similarly, if the metal plate is thick, it needs more assist gas, so the nozzle is also large, and the cutting seam will be widened accordingly. 3.The cutting verticality is good and the heat affected area is small. The verticality of the edge is a very important element of laser cutting. The laser beam diverts when away from focus, depending on the position of the focus, the cut widens toward the top or bottom, the more vertical the edge, the higher the cutting quality.
