At 35.BI-MU, GWEIKE CNC connected high-power sheet cutting and tube processing with smaller, flexible laser applications across the workshop.

MILAN, Italy — GWEIKE CNC took part in 35.BI-MU 2026, which concluded at fieramilano Rho on October 16. From Hall 24, Stand C39, the company's exhibition lineup brought together equipment for large sheet metal parts, tube components and more flexible laser work.

The Milan fair covers metal cutting and forming alongside automation and digital manufacturing. That wider setting matters to equipment buyers: a cutting machine is one stage in a production route, and its choice depends on the material arriving at the workshop, the geometry of the part and the work that follows.

Plate and tube work call for different machines

GWEIKE's 20 kW LF4020GH addressed large-format sheet laser cutting, while the GKS-6024TC represented tube processing. Both begin with metal stock, yet they answer different questions. A flat blank must meet a drawing's outline and cut features; a tube component adds profiles, openings and connections that must line up with later assembly steps.

For manufacturers evaluating a new production cell, the useful comparison is therefore broader than laser power alone. Material, part size, batch mix and the next operation all shape the decision. The two systems gave the Milan lineup a clear industrial core around which those questions could be discussed.

From a large plate to a shaped tube, the route to a finished part begins with choosing the right process for the material and geometry.

Flexible processes alongside the industrial systems

The lineup also included M3 ULTRA and the LCW Series. M3 ULTRA brought multi-process laser work into the range, while the LCW Series covered handheld welding, cleaning and cutting applications. Their place beside the larger machines reflected another workshop reality: not every task calls for the same scale of equipment or the same process.

Together, the machines framed GWEIKE CNC's presence at BI-MU around real production choices, from the first cut to subsequent fabrication work. The exhibition has closed, but those choices remain relevant to manufacturers reviewing their own materials, drawings and planned output.

Continue the project after Milan

Companies that discovered a possible fit at 35.BI-MU can continue with a practical next step: send a part drawing, sample or material specification to GWEIKE CNC. The team can then discuss which equipment direction and configuration suit the intended work.
